The Post Oak Hotel Dress Code Policy

At The Post Oak Hotel, we are committed to upholding a refined, elegant, and welcoming environment for all guests. Appropriate attire contributes significantly to the overall experience and atmosphere across our hotel, dining outlets, event spaces, pool, spa, and public areas.

We kindly ask all guests to observe the following dress code guidelines to help us maintain the highest standards of hospitality.

Hotel-Wide Dress Code - All Day, Every Day

To ensure a respectful and comfortable atmosphere for all guests, including families with children and business travelers, the following standards apply throughout the property:

  • Modest Attire: Revealing, sheer, or see-through garments are not permitted. Swimwear is allowed only in designated pool and spa areas and must be covered when outside these spaces.
  • Footwear Required: Shoes must be worn in all indoor public areas, including the lobby, restaurants, and hallways.
  • Appropriate Graphics: Clothing displaying profanity, suggestive content, or offensive symbols is not permitted.
  • Fresh and Clean Attire: Clothing must be clean and free of strong or unpleasant odors.
  • Undergarments: Should remain fully covered and not visible at any time.
  • Evening Standard: Beginning at 6:00 PM, Business Casual attire is required in all public areas. Certain outlets may have additional requirements, outlined below.

Admittance is at the discretion of management, who reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of attire in alignment with our dress code. Guests are encouraged to contact us in advance for clarification if needed.

Outlet-Specific Dress Code Policies

H Bar - Upscale / Business Casual at All Times

To preserve the elevated ambiance of H Bar, the following attire is not permitted:

  • Swimwear, gym wear, sweatpants, sweatshirts, or hooded clothing
  • Athletic wear, jerseys, ball caps, beanies, or bandanas
  • (Full-brim hats are permitted)
  • Oversized or excessively baggy clothing, bodysuits, tank tops, or sleeveless shirts
  • Revealing or excessively casual attire
  • Slides, flip-flops, Crocs, or house slippers
  • Clothing with noticeable or unpleasant odors

Exceptions may be made at the discretion of management for special sporting events, professional athletic teams, group buyouts, or seasonal events such as Rodeo or Derby days.

Bloom & Bee - Family-Friendly All Day | Business Casual After 4 PM

Bloom & Bee welcomes families throughout the day and transitions to a Business Casual environment beginning at 4:00 PM. All guests are expected to follow family-friendly attire at all times and elevated dress standards in the evening.

Admittance is at the discretion of management, who reserves the right to determine the appropriateness of attire in alignment with our dress code.

Craft F&B, Bouchée Patisserie, Stella's Wine Bar, Spa, and Pool Area - Family-Friendly at All Times

These outlets maintain a relaxed yet refined environment. While casual attire is permitted, all guests must follow the hotel's family-friendly standards.

Business Casual Guidelines

(Applies after 6 PM in public areas hotel-wide, and at H Bar and Bloom & Bee after designated hours)

For Gentlemen:

  • Dress slacks, chinos, or tailored shorts (seasonal)
  • Collared shirts, polos, or neat t-shirts
  • Closed-toe footwear such as loafers, dress shoes, or clean sneakers
  • Jackets and ties are optional

For Ladies:

  • Dresses, skirts, dress pants, or stylish jeans
  • Blouses, tops, or non-revealing t-shirts
  • Closed-toe shoes, dressy sandals, or flats

Denim:

Well-maintained, fashionable jeans are acceptable when paired with appropriate tops and footwear. Please avoid overly distressed, torn, or oversized styles.
